Priorat Natur Vermut (Spanish Vermouth)
Only 700 cases are made every year. The base wine is made from a blend of Macabeo, Pedro Ximinez and White Garnacha, seasoned with rosemary, cumin, vanilla, cinnamon, fennel and other proprietary herbs and spices to create a fragrant and smooth vermouth, balanced on the palate, with just enough sweetness to compliment the accompanying bitter citrus. A good match with anything salty or savory, especially with appetizers. Serve in small pours with 2 ice cubs as an aperitif or digestive, or try it with rye whiskey for a classic Manhattan.
