This small estate shares much of the same terroir as neighboring Pauillac, but delivers much more "bang for the buck." 2017 is a drink young vintage for Bordeaux and the Larose Perganson is a delicious wine to drink while you're waiting for the tannins to mellow in more structured vintages. Very deep, dark ruby color with nice shimmering reflections. The nose combines notes of beeswax, cinnamon stick, Madagascar vanilla and licorice. The palate is marked by an almost perfect balance and overall indulgence. The finish is already smooth, with complex aromas of black fruit, bramble.
