Cattleya 2017 Call to Adventure Chardonnay
If you came to our winemaker dinner with Bibbiana or have tried the Cattleya or Pahlmeyer wines lately, then you know why she is one of the most exciting, talked about and heralded winemakers in California right now. Her wines are meticulously crafted and are getting insanely high scores from the wine press, which has made her wines incredibly difficult to come by lately. Because she enjoyed the dinner we hosted with her back in April, she's offered us one of the just 136 cases of her 97 point, Call To Adventure Chardonnay.
"Formerly called the Pratt Vineyard Chardonnay, the 2017 Call to Adventure Chardonnay offers a deep, rich bouquet of carmelized stone fruits, brioche, white flowers and a hint of honeysuckle. Medium to full-bodied and powerful on the palate, it has an incredible sense of purity and class, flawless balance, and a great, great finish. It tastes like a top Meursault, it's going to keep for over a decade. It's just another sensational wine from this incredible winemaker. - Jeb Dunnuck, 97 Points."
