A fantastic new blend from super talented winemaker Morgan Lee, who makes the Covington wines. His new Detour Red under the City Limits label is a seriously delicious Cab-based blend that drinks fancy and fine! The tech on this wine reads like a wine that should be $40+! 93% Cabernet Sauvignon from StoneTree, Pepper Bridge, Dineen and Discovery Vineyards, 4% Petite Sirah from StoneTree Vineyard and 3% Petit Verdot from Kiona Vineyard. Fermented with native yeast and aged in 60% new French oak for 20 months at bottling.
