Hardin 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The first Hardin Cabernet Sauvignon (2003) was discovered by Doug Polaner, of Polaner Selections, on a trip to California. The wine was sourced from one of Napa Valley's long time "cult" producers. Doug found himself in Napa at the right time, and was able to taste and buy a small lot of this top, top quality wine.
Following the blow-out success of the first effort, Doug has continued to put together a stellar follow-up throughout the years. This is very impressive juice that continues to offer tremendous value for Napa Cab!
The current Hardin is crazy value Napa Cab was sourced from a couple of top "Cult" wineries in the Valley (their wines sell for between $75-150/bot!). Deep, rich and plush with classic Napa Cab fruit, it drinks like a wine costing 2-3 times as much!
Sourced from several regions within Napa including some valley floor and a bit of hillside fruit.
Aged for 22 months in oak, 20% new.
1787 cases produced.
